Are you treating ads like a faucet you can turn on Are you treating ads like a faucet you can turn on and off? Business slow? Turn on ads. Business picks up? Turn off ads. I get why business owners do this. It feels logical. Why spend money on ads when you're already busy? But here's the problem: Ads aren't a faucet. They're a flywheel. When you turn them off, you lose momentum. You lose what the system learned about your audience. You lose the people who were starting to pay attention. When you turn them back on? You're starting over. The best-performing ad accounts run consistently. Not massive budgets. Just consistent. $500–$1,000/month, every month, building momentum over time. And here's what most people don't know: The best time to run ads? Right now. Q1. January through March is when other businesses pull back after the holidays. Less competition = lower costs = your budget goes further. This is my favorite time to run ads for clients. We get better results for less spend because the ad space isn't crowded. But most business owners do the opposite. They turn ads off in Q1 because "it's slow." Meanwhile, their competitors are building momentum that compounds for the rest of the year.
